My 2nd Trimester Abortion

I won’t say my name for personal reasons, But back in 2022, I had been going through a stressful point in my life which caused me to experience amenorrhea, so I was not having regular periods because of this.

In August of 2022, I went to a local hospital with stomach pain, and I was told I was 20 weeks pregnant…my whole world had shattered as I was 20 years old and was not emotionally, financially or mentally ready for a child.

Thankfully, in my state, abortion is legal, and I was able to travel to have the procedure done.

If I had not had the opportunity to have the access to abortion i can absolutely say i considered taking my own life as there felt like i had no other option. I hope my story can help others.
