Pro-Choice YQL Made My Choice Possible

After I was done having children, I went to get an IUD and found out I was pregnant on the day I was to get the IUD inserted.

The doctor told me the test came back positive; she then proceeded to tell me about her children and how children are blessings.

I left feeling uncomfortable but still certain that I was done having children. I didn’t feel comfortable going back to her to discuss my options so I went back to my regular family doctor and he said he didn’t know enough to prescribe the abortion pill.

From there, I reached out to Pro-Choice YQL, who referred me to a doctor who would help me.

This third doctor explained my choices very clearly, and I ended up doing an at-home medical abortion.

My husband was incredibly supportive when the time came, and I was able to have my abortion in the comfort of my own home.

When I was able to, I went back to the third doctor who gave me the pills and she inserted the IUD.

I am still 100% happy with my choice and do not regret it at all.
